OK, let's try this again. Here is the post that I was trying to write last week that was giving me grief. But, being the dedicated worker I am, (this is so not true), I am back at the keys trying to pass along this cool site.
The site is called Affirmagy. It is a woman owned business in Washington state that sells fleece blankets/wraps that are printed with affirmations on them. Their list of categories is extensive. I tried to copy their wording for this post, but you'll have to go to the actual site and click on the photos of the blankets to read them.
I am a big believer in affirmations. I used them a lot while I was pregnant with Ivy to try to find some sort of mental peace during those weeks on uncertainty. I can imagine that actually wrapping myself up in an affirmation blanket could even take the experience further. I think that during that time in my life, I would have chosen either the serenity blanket or the peace blanket. But while I was dealing with my dad's cancer, I would have chosen courage. A blanket for both me and him. I wish that I would have found this site or thought about this idea sooner. So that the cold, scared nights that we both experienced might have been a little bit better.
The site also offers wraps for kids and for pets. There are also gift specials and online deals. They also offer a blog from one of the owners that I haven't checked out yet. But knowing my blog addiction, I'm sure that I'll be heading there soon.
All adult wraps are 60" x 50" and 100% polyester.
Cotton baby wraps are 30" x 40"
Fleece baby & pet wraps are 38" x 28"Thank you for joining our family by choosing to give yourself or someone you love the gift of affirmations.
