Celebrating the birth of my friend's twins yesterday I found myself in the grocery store in the greeting card aisle looking for the appropiate card. This brought back memories of trying to find an appropriate sympathy card for one of my other friends when she had a late term pregnancy loss a couple of years ago. I had to end up buying a blank card and writing in it myself as all of the other sympathy cards were either way too general or way too specific with nothing in between that could fit with the circumstance. I was frustrated.

I found this link to La Belle Dame that offers a full line of sympathy cards for these unique situations.

Their line contains four cards that each cost less than six dollars. They will personalize the cards in their own handwriting if you would like and send the card straight to the recipient.

These original cards are created by Kimberly de Montbrun who is an artist and woman who understands this type of loss. The cards are titled:

Each card is made on linen cardstock and offers little touches that make the cards special. The sentiments on each of the cards is so beautiful that I know I would have a tough time choosing. They can be keepsakes and are also able to be framed. Shipping is included in the prices.

I haven't yet memorialized my losses but these cards would be gorgeous framed along side photos of Ivy and Becken as a subtle memory of our lost babies.
