The WonderPets Now on Nick Jr. is a show that Ivy, Chris and I can all enjoy. A lot of time some of her shows (and his, truth be told) make my skin crawl. This show is adorable. A turtle, hamster and duckling (chick?) sing in operetta style as they rescue other animals. Adorable.
Lawn Service Our weekends used to be ruined with yard work. This year with many jobs and a couple of kids between us, we made the wonderful decision to hire a service. It is worth every penny.
Butch, the Cougar Mascot We are huge WSU fans. It is generational. Ivy just came out of her room with her stuffed Butch. “Look Mom, I’m holding him like a baby. I love my Butch. He’s so cute!”
AOL recipe search Last night I found a recipe for a chicken salad that was amazing. With a little tweaking here and there, it really fit into our schedule last night. Easy to make and everyone liked it? We are having it again for sure!
Unplugging the phone When we are all home and accounted for, one of our favorite things to do is to unplug the phone. We both have cell phones, but we don’t mind their ring tones as much as our house phone. It is such a luscious feeling to know that we won’t be interrupted during our valuable family time.
