As you have probably guessed, I read a lot of blogs. And to continue that further, I read a lot of infertility blogs. I’m a huge believer in “Misery Loves Company”, and boy, was I miserable while trying to have my kids. There was no choice about it, I was miserable. But I’m finding that there are many women out there that aren’t miserable. They are keeping on keeping on. And this really gives me hope. It also makes me feel a little bit guilty in all of my wallowings, but, hey, I’m the only me!
The blog that I’ve been recently diving into is titled “Finding the Next” which I would readily nominate for best title for an infertility blog, ever! It is written by a gal named Juliana who knows her stuff and who is a straight shooter when it comes to her circumstances.
Her most recent post in March is titled, “Still Searching” where she sums up her experiences so far and what she has learned from infertility. I am so thankful to her for this post, as it has given me ideas for future posts to bring here in the future. Although she isn’t blogging too much anymore, when she does write, it is worth reading. Although she doesn’t seem to think so. I love reading about people’s hobbies and travels, even if they aren’t going through IVFs and other treatments.
All I have to blog about these days is my new look, my new furniture, oil painting, wine functions and my travels to the South which give the illusion that I am “GREAT”! and I’m really not, I’m managing okay but I have a long way to go before I consider myself healed. I am still looking for my next and hold onto the pipedream that somehow, someway, someday, I will get a miracle.
