My Vote For Best Stroller In The World

As luck would have it, my best friend was a stroller designer during my pregnancy and while Ivy was a tiny baby. We have so many strollers that it is crazy. I believe that we had 3 types of "jogging" strollers, 2 umbrella strollers, a general folding stroller and my absolute favorite stroller, our InSTEP stroller/backpack.

While researching for this post, this link had the best price.

The pluses for me for this stroller is that it is so tiny and lightweight that I bring it everywhere. It folds up quickly and easily. The little basket in the back really carries a lot of things. We don't use the sun cover because both of the kids kept trying to rip it off, so we just removed it. It doesn't recline at all, so a sleeping baby would not be very comfortable, but come to think of it, neither of the kids ever really slept during stroller time. Chris always uses the backpack feature which I think is funny how we both picked out our favorite ways of using it. And although we have many available strollers, he still will get in the trunk of my car to get this one. The space that it takes up is so minimal that if I actually ever cleaned out my trunk, it would have a roomy space to be stored.

Probably the best thing that I like about this stroller is the fact that people have stopped me and asked me where I got it. This year at the fair as Bec and I were sailing by the carousel line, I heard an exasperated mom tell her husband, "See, we need a stroller like THAT." I looked over and saw them struggling with a huge, bulky, expensive stroller and said a little wish that this woman would end up with a better stroller soon.

The only thing that I would change about the stroller is that it is a very boring dark blue and grey. I like my kids' accessories to stand out as much as possible, since I waited forever to have them (the kids and the gear :)) Our shopping cart baby cover is a black and white toile print that is gorgeous.

I wish that the stroller matched. Good thing my friend doesn't work for the stroller company anymore, or I'd have him pimp my stroller with new fabric! Maybe some spinners? Now I'm really dreaming.
